Milkshake #1
Standing at the counter, the man ordered a milkshake to go. It was packed up in a styrofoam cup with a plastic lid and a plastic straw, wrapper still on the straw.
The man with the milkshake walked to the park, a mere one block away and sat on a bench. He tapped one end of the straw against the cup until the straw poked out from the wrapper. Blowing on the exposed end of the straw the man blew the wrapper across the park. The wrapper flew and it flipped and it swirled and it twirled. It did all these things up until it landed as quietly as a wrapper does when it hits a paved walking path.
A kid, no more than five or six years in age, looked at the man in awe, amazed at this feat he just witnessed the man accomplished. Sipping on his milkshake the man looked up and noticed the kid starring at him.
"Whoa!" the kid exclaimed. "How did you do that?! That was awesome!"
The man looked at the kid, returned to sipping his milkshake then looked back at the young kid. "I'd teach you," the man with the milkshake said, "but I'd have to charge."
The man looked back down at his milkshake and sipped some more, stood up and tossed the nearly full milkshake into the garbage bin next to him. There was a hollow clanking noise as the metal container had recently been emptied.
"Yeppers," the man said as he looked at the kid, "for something like that, I'd have to charge."
